‘Wexford property with derelict buildings to go under the hammer in online auction’. Enniscorthy Guardian. 04/03/23.

The property comes with a derelict stone-built building.

A property comprised of C.9.8 acres of land complete with a derelict stone-built dwelling is to go up for sale in an online auction on Tuesday, March 21.

The auction will be carried out by Quinn Property and will take place at 4 p.m. that day. The property is located in Rathkyle, 3km from Adamstown village on the L8068 road, and is 15km from Enniscorthy, Wexford and New Ross.

Speaking about the property, Jack Quinn, from Quinn Property, said the lands are divided by a hard core public laneway with c.3 acres on the western side and C.7 acres, with the derelict house, on the eastern side.

“The lands are good quality and are currently in grass,” said Mr Quinn. “They have a natural water supply and present an ideal small holding for someone looking to increase an existing holding,” he added.

The property will be offered in two lots with Lot 1 comprised of c.6.5 acres, with the derelict dwelling, and Lot 2, comprised of c.3.3 acres.

To view the property take the L4009, from Adamstown and then take the second road on the left. Proceed along that road for around 1km and take the next right. The property is located on the right and left hand side of the road and is marked with a Quinn Property sign.
