SOLD APRIL 2023 – Valuable C. 13.4 Acre Roadside Holding For Sale By Online Auction On Friday 21st April At 12pm
Today’s third auction saw a superb holding near Bree, Co. Wexford come to the market. The property benefits from access of the public road and is laid out in three divisions. Auctioneer David Quinn had guided the property between at €12,000 per acre and noted “good interest in this holding since it was first advertised”. There were seven registered bidders prior to auction.
On the day of the auction, bidding started at €100,000 and continued in bids of €10,000. After reaching €185,000 with bids from three parties, a break was called to take client instructions. Upon his return to the auction room, Mr Quinn put the property “on the market” and invited further bids. This invitation was quickly accepted with a bid of €187,000. The hammer fell following two further bids at a price of €191,000 (c. €14,250 per acre).
