This property is located on the Main Street of Courtown Harbour in north Wexford

Courtown Harbour in north Wexford has been attracting a lot of commercial interest with two unique properties selling recently following strong interest from many buyers.

One of the properties was on Courtown Main Street and is known to many local residents as it had been a seasonal shop for many years. This prominent unit was guiding at €130,000 and it had significant interest from local businesspeople in particular.

The previous tenants only moved out of the property a few months ago and it sold quickly as a result of its superb location. “Courtown is definitely attracting renewed interest on the commercial business end of things,” said Sales Manager of Quinn Property, Jack Quinn.

Courtown Harbour is a vibrant village and it presents an excellent opportunity to anyone wishing to open a business.

This 0.3 acre property is located in Seamount in Courtown Harbour

Another property that has generated a lot of interest in this coastal village is a 0.3acre vacant site in Seamount. A range of buyers, particularly developers from across Leinster were interested in this vacant property which used to be a tennis court. This well-located site was guiding at €350,000.

“It was a really top quality location just on the harbour and looking out at the sea beyond that. It’s a spectacular site with great potential. It’s been vacant for quite a while now and it hasn’t been actively used so it will be great for the village to see it get used again. Hopefully the new owners will have good plans in mind for it,” said Jack.

Courtown Harbour is one of the south east’s most popular coastal destinations with many tourists arriving each summer as Gorey is only 6km away.

Although, Jack can’t disclose any future plans for either of these properties, he predicts they will be exciting new developments for the village.
