SOLD MARCH 2021 – An Attractive C. 26 Acre Residential Holding And Outbuildings For Sale By Online Auction On Tuesday 2nd March At 3pm.
Today’s auction brought a residential holding on approximately 26 acres to the market. The lands are divided into suitable divisions with c. 16.5 acres of good quality grassland and c. 9.5 acres in mature forestry, planted approximately 20 years ago and reaping the benefit of a natural water supply.
Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the auction was held online and broadcast from our Carnew office. The property received a solid level of interest leading up to the auction and 10 parties were registered to bid online. Auctioneer David Quinn guided in the region of €250,000.
On the day of the auction there was 4 active bidders. After opening at €200,000, bidding steadily rose to €270,000. The property was then declared on the market. With no further bids before or after consulting with the vendor, the hammer fell at this price. The purchaser was identified as a Wicklow based businessman.
Speaking after the opening opening auction of 2021, David Quinn remarked that “this was a hugely positive start to the year. Despite general economic uncertainty, property sales continue to perform well”.
