’25-acre Wexford farm seeking €15k/acre at auction’. Irish Examiner. 12/10/23.

Coming up for sale by online public auction on Wednesday, October 18, is a 25-acre parcel of land, in the townland of Bolinrush, near Bunclody, County Wexford.

“It’s a superb holding,” says selling agent Jack Quinn, “in an excellent location 2km off the Carnew-Ferns road — 4km from Askamore, 5km from Carnew and 8km from Ferns.”

The property has frontage onto the public road and the lands are all in grass, laid out in two divisions.

“The lands are of excellent quality,” says Jack. “They’re suitable for either grass or tillage… they’re all well-fenced and have the benefit of a private well and a piped water supply.”

Carnew is a small town in South Wicklow, close to the borders of Wexford and Carlow. Good quality parcels such as this one are in strong demand and it should attract a good number of bidders. The price guide is €15,000/acre.
