SOLD NOVEMBER 2019 – Valuable C. 12 Acre Roadside Holding With Mature Forestry Plantation For Sale By Public Auction On Friday 22nd November At 2pm In Our Carnew Office.

Today’s auction saw C. 12 acres of land close to the Wicklow/Carlow border brought to the market. The lands are currently growing a mature crop of coniferous forestry, planted about 25 – 30 years ago.

Prior to the auction the property had been guided in the region is €30,000 (approx. €2,500 per acre). On the day of the auction there was a relatively modest attendance. After initial bidding reached €30,000, the property was declared on the market. A further bid brought the price up to €35,000. With no further bids from the room, the property was sold under the hammer at €35,000, which equates to almost €3,000 per acre. To view the full property listing please click here.
