A 31.7-acre property in Killacloran, Aughrim, which will be sold by online auction on Wednesday, October 11.

Three attractive plots of agricultural land in south Wicklow will be sold at two online auctions in October.

On Friday, October 6, at 2 p.m., a c. 20-acre roadside holding in Raheenteigue, Tinahely, will go under the hammer, guiding at €8k to €10k per acre.

Situated 5km north of Tinahely, the property features good frontage onto the public road and has access via a lane. The property is laid out in one division with excellent quality land, currently in grass and has a natural water supply.

A c. 0.84-acre parcel of the Tinahely holding will be sold separately on the same date. Guiding at €20,000, the site has good frontage onto the public road, is in one division, and has site potential, subject to planning permission.

The property at Raheenteigue which comprises of a c. 20 acre holding with adjoining site.

Completing the trio of auctions, on Wednesday, October 11 at 3 p.m., a superb c. 31.7-acre roadside holding in Killacloran, Aughrim will be sold to the highest bidder. The land enjoys an excellent location, 3km from Aughrim and 4km from Woodenbridge, features good road frontage and is laid out in four divisions currently in grass, which are of excellent quality.

The property would suit most agricultural uses and is well-fenced, with access to a piped water supply.

The 31.7-acre property will be offered in one or two lots – Lot 1: c. 25.5 Acres; Lot 2: c. 6.2 Acres; Lot 3: The entire 31.7 acres.

Speaking ahead of the auctions, property agent David Quinn said: “I would expect a good bit of interest in all three of the properties, particularly in the Killacloran land.

“While I expect the properties in Tinahely to attract interest mostly from within the farming community, the Aughrim land is in a stunning location with smashing views, and I could certainly see someone purchasing it with a view to constructing a home.”
