SOLD MAY 2026 – Valuable C. 30.5 Acre Roadside Holding For Sale By Online Auction On Wednesday 27th May At 12 Noon (In Two Lots)
Today’s auction saw a substantial holding just off the N11 and close to Wexford Town come to the market. Auctioneer David Quinn had guided the property in the region of €15,000 per acre and noted “sold interest, particularly from the local farming community”.
The lands were offered in the following lots: Lot 1: C. 18 Acres & Lot 2: C. 12.5 Acres. The full property listing can be viewed here. Mr Quinn stated there were “six parties registered to bid” with “roughly half of those interested in both lots”.
On the day of the auction Lot 1 opened at €200,000 and steadily moved past €250,000 with two active bidders. Bidding continued to moved past €300,000 as a third bidder joined the race for the c. 18 acres. The hammer ultimately fell at €340,000 (€18,900 per acre approx.) to a local farmer.
Bidding on Lot 1 opened at €110,000 and continued briskly to €150,000 with two active bidders. Bidding peaked at €190,000 and with the c. 12.5 acres still short of its reserve Lot 1 was withdrawn. QUINN PROPERTY are delighted to report that following swift negotiations Lot was sold for a higher figure to another local farmer.

When asked for comment on the sale, the auctioneer remarked that he was “very satisfied with the prices achieved as were the vendors”.
