SOLD AUGUST 2026 – Prime C. 2.3 Acre Coastal Site With Development Potential For Sale By Online Auction On Friday, 14th August At 12 Noon

The first of today’s auctions saw a an exceptionally well-located property come to the market. Nestled in in one of County Wexford`s most sought-after coastal locations, this property generated “significant early interest” according to auctioneer David Quinn.

The property was guided between €100,000 and €150,000 and Mr Quinn noted eight registered bidders in advance of the auction.

On the day of the auction, bidding commenced at €70,000 and quickly progressed passed €100,000 and then €200,000 with six active bidders. The auctioneer declared the property to be “on the market” at €225,000 which brought a new bidder into play. With three active bidders remaining the €250,000 mark was reached, the pace of the auction showed little signs of slowing down.

Ultimately the hammer fell at €290,000 to a local resident. Speaking directly after the auction, David Quinn hailed what was “a phenomenal result” and a substantial uplift on the guide price. Mr Quinn remarked that the result demonstrated the “level of demand for similar coastal sites”.
