SOLD APRIL 2026 – A Prime Renovation Opportunity In An Excellent Location For Sale By Online Auction On Tuesday 7th April At 11am

Today’s auction saw a “highly sought-after property” come to the market according to selling agent Jack Quinn. Jack added that more than fifty parties viewed the property during its marketing period which was an encouraging sign leading up to the auction.

There were in excess of ten registered bidders for the auction, “a mix of those seeking an investment opportunity and those looking for an affordable home” according to Jack. The property was guided at €125,000.

On the day of the auction, bidding opened at €90,000 and quickly raced past the guide price. By the time the property had reached €150,000 there were seven active bidders, but the field started to narrow as bidding continued to €175,000. With bidding at €180,000, only two bidders remained and the hammer ultimately fell at €189,000 – an extraordinary result.

Speaking after the auction, Mr Quinn remarked his client’s “delight with the auction result” and added that the price achieved was “well above their expectations”.
