PARTIALLY SOLD SEPTEMBER 2025 – Exceptional Four Bedroom Farmhouse Residence Including Stables on C. 11 Acres For Sale By By Online Auction on Tuesday 9th September 2025 at 12 Noon (In One or More Lots)

Today’s auction saw a most attractive country home set on over 11 acres come to the market. According to selling agent Jack Quinn, there was good early interest in the property which carried through to the day before the auction.

This property was offered for sale in the following lots:
Lot 1: Residence and Stables on C. 1.3 Acres
Lot 2: C. 10 Acres

Mr Quinn had guided Lot 1 in the region of €400,000 while Lot 2 was guided at €12,000 per acre. He noted “three registered bidders for each lot”.

On the day of the auction, Lot 1 opened at €320,000 and continued as far as €350,000 in the opening round of bidding. Lot 2 commenced at €120,000 and moved to €160,000 after early bidding. One further bid of €165,000 had Lot 2 “on the market” and although a new bidder entered the race at €170,000 they did not make another bid after the property reached €175,000. With no further bids forthcoming, the hammer fell at a strong price of €17,500 per acre.

Attention then returned to Lot 1 where further bidding peaked at €365,000. With the property still short of its reserve the property was withdrawn and further negotiations have not yet produced a deal.

Speaking immediately after the auction, Jack Quinn commented that his client “was very satisfied with the price achieved for the land, while we have no doubt that Lot 1 will be sold in the near future”. He added that the purchaser for Lot 2 was “a local farmer”.
