SOLD (PARTIALLY) MARCH 2022 – Knockanooker (C. 36 Acres), Knockananna, Arklow, Co Wicklow. Valuable C. 36 Acre Holding With Farmyard For Sale By Online Auction On Thursday 31st March At 4pm

Thursday’s auction of a substantial c. 36 acre holding at Knockanooker, Knockannana attracted “a good deal of interest” according to auctioneer David Quinn.

The property was offered in the following lots:

Lot 1: C. 15.715 Acres & A framed shed & slatted tank 60ft x 55 ft
Lot 2: C. 2.814 Acres
Lot 3: C. 18.058 Acres
Lot 4: The entire

On the day of the auction, Lot 1 opened at €100,000 before making its way to €130,000 after the first round of bidding. After further rounds of bidding, two more bids were made bringing the top offer €134,000. With no additional offers forthcoming, Lot 1 was withdrawn from the market and sold immediately after auction.

Lot 2 received a top offer of €25,000 after the first round of bidding and with no further offers placed it was withdrawn from the market and sold immediately after the auction.

Lot 3 opened at €50,000 and reached €65,000 in the initial round of bidding. With no additional offers forthcoming, the property was withdrawn from the market and is now available for immediate sale by private treaty. Details can be viewed here.

No offers were made on the entire C.36 acre holding.
