SOLD NOVEMBER 2024 – Superb C. 7.6 Acre Holding For Sale By Online Auction On Wednesday, 6th November 2024 at 12 Noon

Today’s auction saw a well-located parcel of land, close to Wexford town and Rosslare come to the market.

The land is of excellent quality, currently in tillage and is suitable for a range of agricultural and equestrian activities. The property is accessed over a tarred roadway and is all in one block. The holding offers potential for a residential dwelling subject to obtaining the relevant planning permissions.

Auctioneer David Quinn guided the property at €15,000 per acre in advance of the auction. David described strong interested with six registered bidders who were a mix of local farmers and businesspeople.

The auction commenced with an opening bid of €80,000 and continued promptly as far as €155,000 with bids from three parties. After taking client instructions, Mr Quinn informed the room that the property was a little short of the reserve price and further bids would be required to secure the property under the hammer.

With no further bids forthcoming, the property was withdrawn and negotiations commenced with the highest bidder.
