On the day of the auction, there was an opening offer of €100,000 and with activity from two other bidders this quickly rose to €150,000. After a consultation with the vendors the property was then declared to be ‘on the market’. Ultimately, the property sold for €164,000, approximately 10% in excess of the guide price.
