The lands at Garryvadden, Oulart

SOLD NOVEMBER 2022 – Superb C.23 Acre Holding With Road Frontage For Sale By Online Auction On Friday 18th November At 12 Noon

Today’s auction saw a large parcel of land, laid out in one division come to the market. Auctioneer David Quinn described the property as “currently in grass and of good quality.” David added that “the majority of the land is suitable for tillage and that the property has a natural water supply”. The property was guided between €8,000 to €10,000 per acre, with more than five parties registering to bid online.

On the day of the auction, there was an opening bid of €150,000 and after lively bidding, the €200,000 mark was quickly passed. After continued bidding, the property reached €22,000 and was declared ‘on the market’. With no further offers, the hammer fell at €220,000.

After the auction, David noted that “there was strong competition between three bidders on the day”, with the successful bid coming from a “north Wexford based farmer”.
