Today’s auction was one of the most hotly anticipated of the year, with “a lot to suit every type of customer” according to auctioneer David Quinn. The lands are laid out in five separate lots, all of which have good road frontage, offering excellent accessibility and operational convenience. This frontage may present potential for a residential site, subject to planning permission.
The property was offered in the following Lots:

David had guided the lands in the region of €15,000 per acre and noted “exceptional interest”. He added that there was “more than twenty registered bidders” for the auction.
On the day of the auction, all five lots sold for strong prices, reaching a combined total of €2,360,000. This equates to an average price of over €27,000 per acre which “is well above typical land values in the area” according to Mr Quinn.
The result highlights the continued strength of the market in County Wexford with the auctioneer noting “strong demand for similar holdings”.
