The holding has extensive frontage onto a local road and is laid out in three divisions, all of which are in tillage. The land has free draining soil and is of excellent quality with no waste. It is renowned in the local area and recently acted as the site for the Ballycullane Ploughing Match. The property was guided at €10,000 per acre prior to the auction.

On the day of the auction, there was a packed venue with 60 people in attendance. The property was offered in the following lots:
Lot 1: Farmhouse on c. 19.125 acres
Lot 2: c. 44.231 acres
Lot 3: The entire.

Lot 1 was bid to €210,000 while Lot 2 was bid to €340,000. Bidding for the entire commenced at €600,000. With a number of active bidders, this rose to €640,000. Following another round of bidding the property reached €695,000 and was declared on the market. One further bid of €700,000 was enough to secure the property. The purchaser is a New Ross based businessman.
