SOLD OCTOBER 2023 – Valuable C. 1.7 Acre Site For Sale By Online Auction on Wednesday 4th October at 12 Noon.
Today’s auctions saw a c. 1.7 acre roadside site come to the market. The site has not been farmed for many years and is covered in woodland/scrub. The property offers a wonderful opportunity for a residential dwelling subject to planning permission.
Auctioneer David Quinn had guided the property in the region of €25,000 in advance of auction and noted that there were “five registered bidders”.
On the day of the auction, bidding started at €20,000 and quickly jumped as far as €40,000 at which point the property was declared “on the market”. This prompted further bidding before the hammer fell at €44,000.
Speaking after the auction, Mr Quinn said that he was “most pleased with the result, which was well in excess of the guide price”. The auctioneer added that he was “delighted to have secured a great price for the property and that the client was extremely happy with the result”.
The buyer was identified as “a Munster based individual”.
