SOLD MARCH 2022 – C 8.7 Acre Holding For Sale By Online Auction On Thursday 31st Of March At 4pm
Today’s auction saw almost 9 acres of land come to the market. The property is suitable for forestry and accessed from a lane off the public road. Auctioneer David Quinn had guided the property at €20,000 in advance of the auction. While the holding would likely be too compact to attract attention from large forestry operations, David noted good interest from several local individuals.
On the day of the auction, bidding commenced at €10,000 and with four further bids it reached €18,000 after the first round of offers. Once an offer of €20,000 was made, David briefly took client instructions before declaring the property ‘on the market’ Five further bids of €1,000 was enough to secure the holding as the hammer fell at €25,000.
