SOLD APRIL 2022 – Excellent C. 22 Acre Non Residential Holding For Sale By Public AND Online Auction On Monday 11th April At 4pm In Carnew Mart
Today’s auction saw a valuable parcel land close to Craanford, Camolin and Carnew come to the market. The lands are laid out in one division, all of which are currently in tillage. The lands are of excellent quality, suited to any agricultural enterprise. The lands are accessed over a new hardcore driveway which forms part of the property and a third-party has a Right of Way on the driveway. Auctioneer David Quinn said there was “plenty of interest in advance of auction” and he was guiding the lands at €12,000 per acre.
On the day of the auction there was twelve in attendance and three online bidders. Bidding commenced at €200,000 and moved to €380,000 with activity from three bidders. After taking client instructions, the property was declared ‘on the market’. After hitting €420,000, it became a two horse race and back and forth bidding continued until it finally sold for €490,000 to an online bidder.
After the auction, David declared the auction “as a remarkable result” with the price equating to over €22,000 per acre.
