Sold July 2018 – Valuable C. 6.6 Acre Holding For Sale By Public Auction On Tuesday 24th July 2018 At 3pm In Our Gorey Office.
The land in question had moderate levels of interest in the run up to auction. On the day of the auction there was a decent turnout. The land was guided at between €60,000 – €70,000 (€9,090 – €10,606 per acre).
Bidding began at €50,000 and with the help of three bidders, an offer of €95,000 was made. At this point the property was declared on the market and later sold, as no further bids were made.
Auctioneer David Quinn expressed his satisfaction with the result, with the land making €14,393 per acre – considerably greater than the guide price.
