SOLD JUNE 2026 – Four Bedroom Detached Cottage On A C. 0.6 Acre Site For Sale By Online Auction On Friday, 19th June At 12 Noon

Friday’s auction saw a well-located property just outside the charming village of Camolin come to the market. Auctioneer Jack Quinn described “a great deal of interest from far and wide” in the cottage. He added that there was a “huge number of viewings which is always encouraging”.

Mr Quinn had guided the property in the region of €100,000 and shared that “nine parties registered to bid”. On the day of the auction, bidding opened at €85,000 and gradually moved towards and then past €100,000. The property was put on the market at €110,000 and bidding continued steadily thereafter.

With six bidders active on the day, only three remained active beyond €110,000 as competition ramped up to secure the property. The hammer ultimately fell at €140,000 – a marvellous result.

Speaking immediately after the auction, Mr Quinn thanked all bidders for their participation in what he deemed as a “lively auction”. He added that his client was “very much pleased with the outcome of the auction”.
