SOLD OCTOBER 2025 – C. 17.1 Acre Holding In Excellent Location For Sale By Online Auction On Tuesday 28th October At 4PM

Today’s auction saw a fine parcel of lands, located just outside the village of Ferns, come to the market. The lands are laid out in three divisions with good frontage onto the public road, are of excellent quality with free draining soil. Auctioneer David Quinn had guided the property between €15,000 and €18,000 per acre and commented that “interest levels have been promising”. He noted “seven registered bidders, mainly comprising of local farmers”.

On the day of the auction, bidding opened at €220,000 and moved as far as €330,00 with the help of four bidders. Following a brief break to take client instructions, the property was put on the market. The hammer fell after further bidding at €341,000 which equates to approximately €20,000 per acre. Speaking after the auction, Mr Quinn commented that his client was “very satisfied with the outcome”. The successful bidder was identified as a “local tillage farmer”.
