SOLD SEPTEMBER 2026 – Excellent C. 63 Acre Roadside Field For Sale By Online Auction On Tuesday 22nd September At 3pm

Today’s auction saw a substantial c. 63 acre holding come to the market in one large division. The lands comprise of mainly grassland with c. 2 acres of woodland. Auctioneer David Quinn guided the property between €13,000 and €15,000 per acre and described “a good deal of interest” in it, mainly from local farmers and businesspeople.

The auction commenced at €600,000 and continued as far as €840,000 with the help of three bidders. Following a break to take the vendor’s instructions, Mr Quinn returned to the auction room and declared the property to have met its reserve and was now “on the market”. Bidding progressed swiftly from there with two parties remaining active in the contest to secure the lands at Arragurtin. Ultimately, the hammer fell at €910,000 to a North Wexford based farmer.

Speaking directly after the auction, David Quinn commented that his client was “very satisfied with how the auction unfolded” and added that the price achieved was at the upper end of the guide price”. Mr Quinn also extended his best wishes to the purchasers.
