SOLD APRIL 2020 – Valuable C. 26 Acre Roadside Holding For Sale By Public Auction On Friday 3rd April 2020 At 3pm

Friday’s auction arrangements had to change due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19. Instead of taking place in a packed auction room in our Gorey office, bids were made over the phone and interest was registered prior to the auction. In addition, we advised all interested parties to view the contracts prior to bidding.

The property was guided at €10,000 – €12,000 per acre prior to auction, however we expected it to fetch in the region of €350,000.

The lands on were offered in three lots comprising:
Lot 1: C. 10.719 Acres
Lot 2: C. 15.209 Acres
Lot 3: The Entire

The auction attracted numerous bidders with strong interest in all three lots. Lot 3 (The Entire) was bid to a competitive price, however this was exceeded by the sum of Lots 1 and 2.
Lots 1 and 2 were each sold to respective local individuals in excess of the  guide price.
